The design and functionality of the Web site that incorporates these tools and services is clearly arranged to ensure streamlined workflow and timeliness of deliverables.
Collection and Development
Once the Roadmap is solidified, the project team begins the Collection and Development phase. A Collection may consist of a group of templates, images, static data, HTML and dynamic pointers that collectively enable content to be published and viewed logically on the Web site. The project team incorporates existing elements or develops new ones. To complete this phase, Outlook performs unit testing on the elements and logic for functionality and usability.

The phased approach follows a traditional software development life cycle. This includes version control, formal defect tracking and resolution, release testing and regression testing. All development is maintained within a formal framework that has been outlined from the onset of the project. The result is timed releases of products that adhere to a strict set of requirements, assuring delivery of a fully functional system.
